Pairing information and app preferences are stored locally on your device. It does not use ads, does not use analytics, does not track users across apps or websites, and does not require an account.
Remote Controlr is developed by IndieCodr.
This app is designed to provide simple TV remote functionality while avoiding unnecessary data collection.
Data Collection
Remote Controlr does not collect personal data for IndieCodr servers.
The app does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third-party advertisers or analytics providers.
Local Network Access
Remote Controlr may request Local Network permission so the app can discover, pair with, and communicate with supported TV devices on the same local network.
Local network access is used by the app to provide remote-control functionality on your device and local network. IndieCodr does not operate a server that receives or stores your local network device list, remote activity, commands, or viewing information.
You can control Local Network permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Device Pairing and Preferences
Remote Controlr may store paired device information, app preferences, and related settings locally on your device to support app functionality.
Local app data is not transmitted to IndieCodr servers. Deleting the app may delete the app's local data from the device, unless the device restores app data from an iOS backup.
No Ads, Tracking, or Analytics
Remote Controlr does not use:
- Advertising
- Third-party ad networks
- Analytics
- Tracking
- App Tracking Transparency prompts
- Cross-app or cross-site tracking
- Advertising identifiers
- Third-party SDKs for ads, analytics, or tracking
No Accounts
Remote Controlr does not require an account, login, email address, username, password, or online profile.
Children's Privacy
Remote Controlr does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
Because the app does not collect personal data for IndieCodr servers, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
